The Västerås konstmuseum collection contains both historic as well as contemporary art, with the primary focus being on Swedish artists. |
The collection is growing every year through acquisitions and donations from for example Friends of Västerås konstmuseum. In the collection there are works by e.g. Albin Amelin, Karin Mamma Andersson, Ivan Aguéli, Olle Bærtling, Kari Cavén, Elsa Celsing, Lena Cronqvist, Erland Cullberg, Jacob Dahlgren, Siri Derkert, Sven X:et Erixson, Hreinn Fridfinnsson, Isaac Grünewald, Annika von Hausswolff, Peter Johansson, Lage Lindell, Marilyn Minter, Vera Nilsson, Anneè Olofsson, Mari Rantanen, Ulf Rollof and Ann-Sofi Sidén. |
